The National Association of Real Estate Brokers, (NAREB), is a Real Estate Professional trade organization. NAREB has a special charge to make sure that predominantly African American and other minority communities are treated fairly as land use and urban planning policies are developed. They see it as their special obligation to preserve, and now, to restore communities where African American homebuyers and homeowners count on their home being their greatest asset – now and into the future.
NAREB was founded in 1947, making it the oldest minority professional trade association in America. NAREB has 90 chapters in 33 states.
The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals® is The Voice for Hispanic Real Estate® and proud champions of homeownership for the Hispanic community. NAHREP is a purpose-driven organization that is propelled by a passionate combination of entrepreneurial spirit, cultural heritage and the advocacy of its members. Their role as trusted advisors and passionate advocates is to help more Hispanic families achieve the American Dream in a sustainable way that empowers them for generations to come.
NAHREP has over 30,000 members nationwide who are a part of 70 different local chapters.
The LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance was launched in June 2020 by leading members of the real estate industry. Influential real estate professionals and allies joined with other members of the LGBTQ+ community to create a new voice in real estate. Founded as a Minnesota non-profit corporation, The Alliance received its 501(c)6 IRS approval on June 23, 2020. The Alliance is dedicated to enhancing the professional lives of our members while providing consumers with the proper resources to assist in buying, selling, and enjoying their home.
The Alliance began accepting members from a wide range of professionals in the real estate and housing industries starting October 2020. Delegates in more than 30 states launched more than 50 chapters in 2020. North Carolina is in region 4 of the National Chapter Program.
Founded in 2003, the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) is a nonprofit professional trade organization dedicated to promoting sustainable homeownership opportunities in Asian American communities by creating a powerful national voice for housing and real estate professionals that serve this dynamic market.
With over 17,000 members in 39 chapters across the US and Canada, AREAA is the largest Asian organization in North America.
